Slush 2025: Open Call for Expression of Interest for Cypriot startups

The Research and Innovation Foundation wishes to inform interested parties that there is an opportunity for Cypriot start-ups to express their interest in participating in the Slush event, which will take place in Helsinki, on 19 – 20 November 2025.

The Slush 2025 Event is a two-day festival-conference that brings together over 6,000 representatives from start-ups, giving them the opportunity to promote their products, attract new customers, showcase their activities and network with other businesses and potential investors, which is expected to exceed 3,500 at this year’s event.

The presence of Cyprus at the Slush 2025 Event is an initiative of the Foundation, as the national body responsible for the funding of Research and Innovation (R&I), as part of its actions to promote Cyprus’ innovation ecosystem abroad and provide support to start-ups in the domestic ecosystem.

Cypriot start-ups participating in the event will have the opportunity to use their presence for networking and internationalisation purposes with potential interested business partners or investors. In addition, participants will have the right to participate in various side activities organised in the framework of the Event, such as Founders Day and Slush Week Side Events.

Please note that the expression of interest does not guarantee automatic participation in the Slush event. The Foundation will announce at a later stage a relevant Call for Proposals which will specify the relevant conditions of participation and the selection procedure. This call is made for the purposes of an initial exploration of interest.
