The young researchers must be nominated by another person or body, via the submission of a short, online nomination form.
The nominated researchers are invited to present the work and results of their research activities and the importance of research results, their CV and a general framework for their future research activities, to be taken into account during the evaluation procedure.
The nominated researchers should:
- hold a PhD degree on the announcement date of the Call,
- have a maximum of seven (7) years of experience since the completion of their PhD and up to the announcement date of the Call (between the 7th of February 2013 and the 7th of February 2020 inclusive)
- have been working and living in Cyprus on a permanent basis during the last three (3) years up to the announcement date of the Call (between the 16th April 2018 and the 16th of April 2021 inclusive)
Extensions are possible under certain circumstances for career breaks for maternity or paternity leave, military service or documented sick leave[1].
The nominated researchers may be of any nationality and must have been working in any Research Organization, Enterprise or other Public or Private Entity located in the areas under the control of the Republic of Cyprus.
