“Horizon Europe Info Days”: Series of online informative and brokerage events by the European Commission

Researchers and Innovators working in organisations in Cyprus will have the opportunity to follow a series of online events on the opportunities arising from the European Union’s biggest Research and Innovation funding programme, “Horizon Europe”.

“Horizon Europe Info Days”, which are being organised by the European Commission, will begin on 28 June 2021 and last for ten days. They will cover the Programme’s six Clusters, as well as the “Research Infrastructures Programmes”, the “Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions” and the Horizontal Programme “Widening Participation and Strengthening the European Research Area (ERA)”.

More specifically, the event will give participants the opportunity to get specialised information and practical advice from European Commission representatives, who will present the Programme’s novelties and new procedures, while also responding to questions.

The Programme:

28 June – Research Infrastructures

29 & 30 June – Digital, Industry & Space (Cluster 4)

30 June – Civil Security for Society (Cluster 3)

1 July – Culture, Creativity & Inclusive Society (Cluster 2)

1 July – Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions: What’s new under Horizon Europe

It is noted that within the info-days’ framework, the “Bridge to Horizon Europe” project of the National Contact Point Coordinators will hold online brokerage events, covering all the Clusters in Pillar 2 “Global Challenges and European Industrial Competitiveness.” The aim is to help participants find potential partners and create cooperation networks with the aim of submitting proposals.
