Horizon Europe Impact Award 2022
The Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF), would like to inform potential applicants that the European Commission has announced the Horizon Impact Award 2022. Applications are open until the 8th March 2022.
This award is the European Commission’s initiative to recognise and celebrate outstanding projects that have used their results to provide value for society. It aims to highlight the socio-economic benefit of EU investment in research and innovation and encourage other beneficiaries to use and manage their results in the possible way, creating role models and inspiring. The applicants will need to demonstrate that their results have created societal impact across Europe and beyond.
6 Awards of €25.000 will be provided, while the winners will also benefit from the dissemination and publicity that will follow.
The contest is open to all legal entities, individuals or teams that have completed a project under the 7th Framework Programme of the EU for Research and Technological Development 2007-2013 (FP7) and/or under the Framework Programme of the EU for Research and Innovation 2014-2020, Horizon 2020. Projects must have ended by the contest’s deadline
Applications are submitted via the Funding and Tenders Portal of the European Commission.

The Horizon Impact Award is part of the “Widening Participation and Strengthening the ERA” horizontal priority that is part of Horizon Europe, the Framework Programme for Research and Innovation 2021-2022.
