Completion of the Submission of Proposals for the BRIDGE2HORIZON/0823 Call of the «BRIDGE2HORIZON» Programme
The submission of proposals for call BRIDGE2HORIZON/0823 of the «BRIDGE2HORIZON» Programme was completed on the 24th of October 2023.
5 proposals were submitted successfully through the IRIS portal, 4 of which coordinated by Research Organisations and 1 of which coordinated by an Enterprise.
The RIF will proceed with the selection of proposals which, as specified in the RESTART Work Programme, includes the preliminary check and the scientific evaluation of proposals.
The Programme aims to strengthen the capacities of Cypriot R&I entities and also increase the coordination of collaborative projects and the leadership of pan-European Consortia by Cypriot entities in proposals for collaborative projects in the frame of Horizon Europe. Within 2022, 15 proposals were submitted for collaborative projects with a CY coordinator in Horizon Europe, while 8 have been submitted so far within 2023. With the implementation of the BRIDGE2HORIZON projects to be funded, the number but also the chances of success of proposals coordinated by CY entities are expected to rise.
Interested parties are reminded that this Programme has 4 upcoming cut-off dates, providing further opportunities for entities to pursue the coordination of collaborative projects in line with thematic priorities and challenges the EU aims to tackle in the frame of upcoming Work Programmes of Horizon Europe.
