The Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF) announces the evaluation results of proposals submitted for the PRE-SEED/0823 call for proposals of the “Creation and Initial Development of Startups with International Orientation” programme, the evaluation procedure of which was completed within five (5) months of the Call deadline.
Specifically, the call was announced on the 24th of November and the deadline for the submission of proposals was on the 26th of January 2024. The results have been announced through the IRIS portal and are available here.
According to the RESTART 2016-2020 Work Programme, Proposals submitted in this Program are evaluated in two Stages. In the First Evaluation Stage, RIF followed a preliminary evaluation and remote evaluation process by two (2) Independent Evaluators.
The proposals proceeding to Phase II Evaluation, according to the SPECIAL PROVISIONS of the “PRE-SEED/0823” Call, were (i) the first five (5) proposals with the highest score (in descending order) led by female Project Coordinators, and (ii) the remaining proposals with the highest score (in descending order) until the total amount of requested funding of the proposals equals twice the available budget of the Call, provided that they have been deemed eligible for funding (score at least 12.00/15.00). The proposals that qualified to Phase II of the Evaluation were evaluated by an Independent Evaluation Committee, comprising experts with entrepreneurial background.
