Participation of Cypriot Startups in the Event “FYFN 2025”, Barcelona, March 03 – 06, 2025

The Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF) announces a Call for the Expression of Interest for the selection of Cypriot startups to participate in the 4YFN 2025 Event (https://www.4yfn.com/), which will take place in Barcelona, on March 03 – 06, 2025.

The 4YFN 2025 is a festival-conference that attracts thousands of startups and investors and offers opportunities for visibility, customer attraction, and networking with over 1,000 investors and other businesses.

Cyprus’s participation in 4YFN 2025 is an initiative of RIF for the promotion of the Cypriot innovation ecosystem and the support of domestic startups, particularly those funded by its Innovation Programs. The support for participation is part of the activities of the Enterprise Europe Network Cyprus, in which RIF participates as a partner.

 

An Expression of Interest for participation in the 4YFN 2025 Event can be submitted by Cypriot enterprises, from all areas of technology that operate economically in the areas controlled by the Republic of Cyprus, as follows:

  1. Enterprises that have received funding from RIF as Host Organisations, under the following Programs:
  • Pre-Seed
  • Seed (including the SEED-COVID/0420 Call)
  • Innovate (including the INNOVATE-COVID/0420 Call)
  • Disrupt

 

  1. Enterprises that had submitted a proposal as Host Organisations and had been invited to participate in the B’ Phase of evaluation, within the framework of the following Programs:
  • Pre-Seed
  • Seed (including the SEED-COVID/0420 Call)
  • Innovate (including the INNOVATE-COVID/0420 Call)
  • Disrupt
  1. Start-up Enterprises.
  2. Enterprises that have secured a “Certificate of Innovative Business” from the Deputy Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy of the Republic of Cyprus.

 

Please note that for the purposes of the Call, Start-ups are considered, enterprises with a technological orientation and potential for high growth rates, which are established with the aim of developing a product/service and seek to offer their product in the international market.  Additionally, it is clarified that businesses can participate through their representatives who must either be founders of the enterprise or hold an organizational position in the business.

The deadline for submission is January 10, 2025, at 13:00.
