RIF: €1.2 million at the disposal of Cypriot startups

 New funding opportunities through the PRE-SEED programme

As part of its efforts to strengthen startup and innovative entrepreneurship in Cyprus, the Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF) announces the new call of the PRE-SEED programme, with a total budget of €1.2 million.

The PRE-SEED programme aims to accelerate the development of a startup while the funding covers, among other things, the first steps of operation, recruitment, prototype development, business plan development, and marketing and branding activities.

The maximum funding per project is €119,999. For more information, please study the call here.

Proposals can be submitted via the IRIS platform. The deadline is 1 November 2024.

It is worth noting that the institutions selected for funding will automatically benefit from the free innovation support services and knowledge transfer tools offered by the RIF. The calls are co-funded by the Republic of Cyprus and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) under the Cohesion Policy Programme “THALIA 2021-2027”.
